Italy knows how to do abandoned buildings.
“The castle was sold at auction in 1999 and has been abandoned since then. There are plans to turn it into a hotel and health club and golf coarse and….. building was planned to start in 2011.”
How can something that stunning be abandoned!? Surely it could be a massive visitor attraction? Or at least make a good living as a film set.
I love the colouring. Very unusual for a building of that style. Great to see something that isn’t all gilded.
